Life at the Talley house continues to be full of home schooling, many pets, new jobs, and mission trips. The picture above shows Alex and Cassidy enjoying herb tea from Grandma's herb garden while having a morning devotional.

Alex plays soccer on a team coached by Raymond. We got to see a game in October which they won twice--long story involving a referee with a bad memory. Alex plays the goalie and does a great job.

Raymond works for Schreiber Cheese company when he isn't coaching. He is enjoying the job including the cheese sales. He is planning his next move in the company which may eventually lead them to moving somewhere else in the US but that is an exciting thing to think about for the future. He is the IS Manager right now for the plant in Monet. When they were in El Salvador, he ended up doing a lot of computer repair work in their labs. He also got involved with the mayor of La Palma where they worked on their fire department. Since Raymond serves on the volunteer fire department in Ash Grove, he had some knowledge to share. He is looking for fire trucks for El Salvador.

Cassidy is still all girl. She loves playing Barbies, babies, with her kittens, and dreams about having a horse. Makeup and pretty clothes are some of her favorite things. Cassidy is also cheerleading this year.

These horses were at a party we took the kids to when they were in Wisconsin. Cassidy loves to be around horses.

Here are the kids on Alex's 11th birthday. Wow, they are growing up fast and into lovely young people.

When they came to pick up the kids this summer, the family went kayaking together.

At home, Kara stays busy with home schooling. They also teach English to an Hispanic couple every week, go to the library program for home schoolers, and do a variety of activities in the community. Kara was in charge of the Vacation Bible School last summer and painted the walls of the education wing as a Bible village. She is a talented young lady!
